Elite Competitive Company
Philosophy:
To provide dancers with the opportunity to train at a more intense level in preparation for competitive dance and other performance opportunities.
Competitive Teams:
Petite Team: (Ages 4-7)
Petite Team consists of young dancers who are preparing for the dance repertoire required for AMP’d Elite.
Junior Team: (Ages 7-11)
Junior Team prepares younger dancers for the spotlight. They have already completed at least two years of competitive dance and are preparing for the higher levels of competition.
Teen Team: (Ages 11-14)
Teen Team consists of more seasoned dancers who have completed 3+ years of competitive dance and are ready to compete at the next level.
Senior Team: (Ages 13-18)
Senior Team is the most advanced level of competitor at AMP’d Limited. Dancers have competed for 4+ years, competingat very high levels and participating in a larger number of competitive routines.
Commitment:
AMP’d Elite Competitive Company is a 9-month commitment. Not only are Elite members required to attend more dance classes per week, but they are also required to attend Tremaine Dance Convention (February 2012) and three regional competitions (Starpower, Showstopper & Thunderstruck). If they fail to meet this commitment they may risk expulsion from the Elite program.
Company Tuition: (Monthly Rate)
Petite Team: 3 hours ($180) or 4 hours ($224)
Junior Team: 4 hours ($224) or 5 hours ($240)
Teen Team: 5 hours ($240) or 6 hours ($264)
Senior Team: 5 hours ($240) or 6 hours ($264)
Additional Hours: 7 hours = $308 and 8 hours = $320
Company Fees:
Competition Costumes (up to $100 per dance)
Required performance tights, shoes and makeup
Elite Warm-Up ($155)
Competition Fees ($40-$110 per routine)
Choreography Fees (for Elite Special routines)
Teacher Fees for lodging and food (competition weekends)
