Elite Competitive Company

 

Philosophy:
To provide dancers with the opportunity to train at a more intense level in preparation for competitive dance and other performance opportunities.

Competitive Teams:
Adagio Company: 
Adagio Company consists of young dancers who are preparing for the dance repertoire required for AMP’d Elite.

Andante Company:
Andante Company prepares younger dancers for the spotlight. They have some dance background but are ready to commit at a higher level.

Allegretto Company:
Allegretto Company consists of more seasoned dancers who have competitive experience and have committed to dance by taking more hours of dance per week. These dancers are highly committed and are ready to compete and perform at a more rigorous level.

Allegro Company:
Allegro Company consists of dancers who have many years of dance experience. This dance company requires intense commitment and dedication, which will be seen through time spent at the studio and high caliber of dance routines.

Allegrissimo Company:
Allegrissimo Company is the most advanced level of competitor at AMP’d Limited. Dancers have competed at very high levels and participating in a larger number of competitive routines and performances. They are required to have an incredible amount of commitment to the competitive company, which is seen through the hours spent at the dance studio. Their commitment is also seen in a mentorship program with the younger dancers in the Elite Company.

 

Commitment:
AMP’d Elite Competitive Company is a 9-month commitment. Not only are Elite members required to attend more dance classes per week, but they are also required to attend Tremaine Dance Convention (February 2013), three regional competitions and one national competition in July 2013. . If they fail to meet this commitment they may risk expulsion from the Elite program.

 

Company Tuition: (Monthly Rate & Minimum Required Hours)

Adagio Company: 4 hours ($224)
Andante Company: 5 hours ($240)
Allegretto Company: 6 hours ($264)
Allegro Company: 7 hours ($308)
Allegrissimo Company: 8 hours = ($320)

Monthly Tuition is Non-Refundable!!!

 

Company Fees:

  • Competition Costumes (up to $100 per dance)
  • Required performance tights, shoes and hair/makeup
  • Elite Warm-Up ($155 + $30 for Rhinestones)
  • Competition Fees ($40-$110 per routine)
  • Choreography Fees for Elite Invites ($65.00 per routine + rehearsal fees)
  • Teacher Fees for lodging and food (competition weekends)
  • Recital Costumes
  • Dance Convention Fees
