AMP’d Policies

Tuition & Fees
Tuition is due one week prior to the start of the session. Tuition payments are non-refundable.

Fees that are applicable are as follows:

Costume Fee = $55.00 (Creative Movement) and $70.00 for all other classes (Fee Due February 1st)

Registration Fee = $15.00 per family per year

Late Fee – $10.00 (over 5 days accrues a late fee for Developmental Dance only!)

Choreography Fee = $65.00 per class (if dancer pulls out of dance recital at last minute)

 

Medical Release/Waiver Form
All dancers/clients will be required to have a medical release/waiver form on file prior to participating in any classes at AMP’d Limited. A new release form will be required each year. AMP’d Limited-Medical Release_Waiver Form.

 

Cancellations
In the event of inclement weather, AMP’d Limited will follow the Waukesha School District closing. Closings will be posted on the website as well as recorded on the AMP’d Limited voicemail system. If classes are cancelled, dancers/clients will be able to attend an alternate class within two weeks of the class cancellation.

 

Class Placement
Class placement is according to dancer’s age and ability level. If a dancer/client is unfit for a particular class, the instructor will suggest other class levels or classes for the dancer/client. Class placement is strictly at the instructor’s discretion.

 

Attendance
If a dancer/client is unable to attend his/her class, please call the studio to inform the instructor of absence. If absences become habitual the dancer/client may be asked to leave the class, without a tuition refund.

 

Punctuality
If dancers arrive late to class they may be asked to observe class instead of participating. It is crucial that dancers arrive on time in order to completely participated in class and avoid disruption.

 

Dress Code
Ballet Classes:                                                                                                                 

  1. Black leotard
  2. Tights (Capezio Caramel)
  3. Ballet shoes
  4. Ballet skirt is optional

Jazz Classes:

  1. Leotard/Camisole
  2. Tights (Capezio Caramel)
  3. Jazz pants, capris or boy shorts
  4. Jazz shoes (no bare feet or foot thongs!)

Tap Classes:

  1. Leotard/Camisole
  2. Jazz pants, capris or boy shorts
  3. Tap shoes

Hip Hop Classes: (Pee Wee Funk)

  1. Athletic clothing (not too baggy)
  2. Dance Sneakers or clean street shoes

Lyrical/Contemporary Classes:

  1. Leotard/Camisole
  2. Boy shorts
  3. Lyrical sandals or Capezio Fusion shoes
  4. Instructor may allow bare feet

AMP’d Elite Classes:

  1. Black leotard or camisole
  2. Black pants, capris or boy shorts
  3. Tights (Capezio Caramel)
  4. Appropriate shoes

Boyz Only Classes:

  1. Athletic clothing
  2. Proper shoes (jazz shoes, dance sneakers or clean street shoes)
